Over the past month we have had the privilege of sharing some of our talented sellers from all over the world, like Ric from Africa, Pete and Gapa in the U.S., Isabel in Spain, and Aspara from India. We’ve highlighted someone from almost every continent, and today we add another to that list as we feature one of the most amazing sellers in the TrovaPage family from Brazil.

This week we want to introduce you to Danielle. A Santos, Brazil native, Danielle traveled to Mercyhurst University in the United States to complete her undergraduate degree in Dance and Psychology. Danielle has trained in a variety of styles, including ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip hop and modern. Professionally, Danielle has an extensive list of experience, performing for two seasons with Pullmantur Cruise Lines, one season with the Ballet Theatre of Maryland and two seasons with Mercyhurst Ballet Theatre. She also danced for one season with the Mercyhurst Dance Team and has appeared with Ballet Concerto in Fort Worth, TX, and Lake Erie Ballet in Erie, PA. She has performed as a soloist and a group member in both national and international competitions, including Tanzolymp (Germany), Youth America Grand Prix (United States), and Festival de Joinville (Brazil). After completing her studies and time in the U.S., Danielle returned to Santos to further pursue her dream of becoming a dancer.

It was during the pandemic that Danielle came across TrovaPage on Facebook. As a performer, the impact of COVID on her industry was great and she knew she needed to try to find another way to make money. What better way to try and drum up income than by monetizing something she already loves doing, right? So she Became a Seller and the rest is history!

Danielle describes her teaching style as follows:

“My personal teaching philosophy is based on the concept of motivation. I display high energy and enthusiasm towards all students in my classes. I believe that by showing students my passion and excitement for the arts, they reciprocate with a willingness to learn and are motivated to improve both technically and artistically. I believe that to be successful students need to understand their own limits from an anatomical perspective. I have knowledge and understanding on how to work with students’ anatomical differences and I am able to help them improve technically with proper alignment and placement resulting in an injury-free, safe career.”

For Danielle, the opportunity to share her talents with others from all around the world is what motivates her the most. “Being able to start my business and open it up to clients I never ever would’ve been able to reach is amazing”. She went on to say that she appreciates that with TrovaPage she can “set my schedule and then let the clients pick and choose what class sessions work for them”. The flexibility in scheduling gives Danielle the ability to use TrovaPage as an additional sales channel and take on new clients, while still having the time to work with her existing clients in her local area.

Danielle left us with the following piece of advice for other entrepreneurs, “Don’t be afraid to try new things and new methods. If you keep pushing, you are bound to succeed!”
